Tanta District Receives Tanta University’s Developmental Convoy

As Part of the Activities of the Presidential Initiative "A New Beginning for Human Development", Tanta District Receives Tanta University’s Developmental Convoy

   Tanta University is still organizing its developmental convoys as part of its community service activities under the presidential initiative “A New Beginning for Human Development” in Al-Manshiya Al-Gadida village, Tanta District. The convoy was held under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Hussein, Tanta University, in the presence of Prof. Mahmoud Selim, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Loay El-Ahwal, Vice Dean of Faculty of Medicine for Community Service and Environmental Development; and Prof. Sahar El-Haggar, Vice Dean of Faculty of Pharmacy for Community Service and Environmental Development.

   At the convoy, medical examinations were conducted for 1,013 cases across 13 specialized clinics, covering neurosurgery, pediatrics, orthopedics, dermatology, internal medicine, urology, ENT, general surgery, pulmonology, neuropsychiatry, ophthalmology, cardiology, and public health initiatives. All patients received the necessary medications free of charge, and 77 cases were referred to Tanta University Hospitals for further treatment and necessary tests, also for free.

   Additionally, veterinary services were provided for over 4,083 head of livestock and poultry, with the participation of a large number of academic staff members, doctors, and pharmacists.
