Tanta University Environmental Sustainability Policy
Strategies
To achieve these objectives, Tanta University seriously working on the following
Green Infrastructure and Campus Biodiversity
Develop and maintain green spaces on campus to enhance biodiversity, provide recreational spaces, and improve air quality.
Implement a tree-planting program to absorb CO2 and contribute to a healthier environment.
Incorporate green building principles in the construction and renovation of campus buildings.
Sustainable Procurement
Implement a sustainable procurement policy that prioritizes products and services with lower environmental impacts.
Work with suppliers who demonstrate strong environmental performance and commitment to sustainability.
Research and Innovation
Encourage and support research into climate change, environmental sustainability, and related areas.

Foster innovation in sustainability through competitions, grants, and partnerships with businesses and other organizations.
Community Engagement
