Tanta University Launches TUI² Forum 2026 for Professional Development, Innovation, and Internationalization

Tanta University launches the Tanta University Forum for Professional Development, Innovation, and Internationalization (TUI² Forum 2026), taking place from September 6 to 15, 2026, under the patronage of H.E. Prof. Abdelaziz Konsowa, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Acting Minister of Culture, and Prof. Mohamed Hussein, Tanta University President, and under the supervision of Prof. Mahmoud Selim, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof. El-Sayed El-Agouz, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs.

The forum is held under the slogan: “From Qualification to Innovation… From Innovation to Partnership and Impact.” It reflects Tanta University’s commitment to building an integrated system that connects professional development, innovation, entrepreneurship, and internationalization with the needs of industry, investment, and the labor market. This contributes to transforming promising ideas and projects into real opportunities for implementation, incubation, and partnership, while enhancing the university’s role in supporting development and serving the community.

The forum brings together a number of Egyptian universities, institutes, and institutions across eight areas aligned with development priorities and the needs of society and industry. It also provides a platform for communication and interaction among students, graduates, researchers, innovators, representatives of industry and business sectors, and investors, supporting the exchange of expertise, identification of opportunities, and development of new avenues for cooperation and practical application.

The forum’s program comprises three integrated main stages, beginning with the TU NEXT program, held from September 6 to 8, 2026. The program focuses on professional development and entrepreneurship, as well as developing ideas and projects, promoting participants’ professional and investment readiness, and preparing them to move on to the subsequent stages.

The second stage, TU BUSINESS TANK, takes place on September 14, 2026. It features the presentation and evaluation of innovative projects, with a focus on assessing their readiness and connecting promising projects with industry needs and opportunities for investment, implementation, and incubation.

The forum concludes on September 15, 2026, with its third and main event, TANTA UNIVERSITY CONNECT, which serves as a platform for communication and networking between the university, industry and business sectors, and its partners. The event includes the Industry Leaders Roundtable, an exhibition of innovations and opportunities, presentations of innovative projects, as well as partnership activities and an honoring ceremony.

The forum’s activities aim to achieve actionable outcomes that can be followed up through establishing partnerships with industry and business sectors, identifying industrial challenges and needs, creating avenues for research and applied collaboration, and supporting investment and incubation opportunities for promising projects, thereby promoting the university’s developmental and community-serving role.

Students and graduates are also a key focus of the forum, which provides them with opportunities for professional development, acquisition of future skills and entrepreneurship, and direct interaction with experts and representatives of companies and industry. This contributes to developing their capabilities, enhancing their opportunities for training and employment, and supporting their ability to transform their ideas into viable projects.

TUI² Forum 2026 underscores Tanta University’s vision of fostering stronger connections among the university, industry, and the labor market through an integrated pathway that begins with qualification and development, progresses to the evaluation of innovations and their connection with opportunities, and ultimately leads to creating partnerships and achieving tangible impact that contributes to supporting development and serving the community.
