Signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between Tanta University and Chem-Tech for Laboratory Equipment

A memorandum of understanding was signed at Community Service and Environmental Development Sector of Tanta University between the university's career development centers and Chem-Tech for Laboratory Equipment. The memorandum was signed on behalf of Tanta University by Prof. Mahmoud Selim, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and on behalf of the company by Engr. Ahmed Mahrous El-Sharkawy, Chairman of the Board, in attendance of Dr. Mohamed Samir, Director of University Career Development Center at Faculty of Science, in addition to several team members from the centers. The memorandum aims to provide job opportunities and training for outstanding students and graduates of the university.

    Moreover, Prof. Mahmoud Selim highlighted the sector's commitment to creating partnerships with agencies, institutions, and business companies to provide training and qualification opportunities for students and graduates of the university. This is to enhance their abilities and skills, connect educational outcomes with real needs, and to prepare qualified human resources capable of competing in labor market. He noted that this supports the national strategy adopted by Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and contributes to preparing a distinguished generation able to achieve sustainable development and to meet the goals of Egypt's Vision 2030.

      Furthermore, University Vice President added that, under the memorandum of understanding, there will be coordination to organize field visits for university students to learn about work environment and professional life and its requirements. Additionally, training opportunities will be provided for students from relevant faculties during the summer or winter vacations. Training opportunities will also be offered to graduates of various academic and scientific disciplines.
