1500 job and training opportunities are offered at major companies across various industrial sectors.

   Prof. Mahmoud Selim, Tanta University Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, inaugurated today the Employment Forum at Faculty of Business, under patronage of Prof. Mohamed Hussein, Acting President of Tanta University, and in attendance of Prof. Mahmoud Issa; Deputy Gharbia Governor; Prof. Yasser El-Garf, Dean of Faculty of Business, along with vice deans of faculties, academic staff members, company owners, and HR representatives from the participating institutions.

   Prof. Mahmoud Selim stated that the Employment Forum had broad participation from institutions across various industrial sectors, including finance, manufacturing, agriculture, insurance, human resources, and programming. He added that 22 institutions participated, providing 1,500 job and training opportunities in numerous fields. He asserted that the employment forums organized by the university and its faculties aim to achieve the goals of the national strategy for higher education and scientific research by transitioning toward fourth-generation universities and aligning educational outcomes with the needs of labor market.

   In addition, Prof. Mahmoud Issa expressed his pleasure at attending the inauguration, highlighting that Tanta University serves as a distinguished center of expertise in Gharbia Governorate and a strategic partner in all development and community service projects.

    Moreover, Prof. Yasser El-Garaf noted that this year’s Employment Forum attracted significant interest from participating companies and institutions, as reflected in the level of representation at the exhibition and their eagerness to recruit qualified cadres with the necessary knowledge and skills to meet their needs. He also indicated that the faculty's role extends beyond providing opportunities to include follow-up and evaluation of graduates after employment.
