The Conclusion of the Training Course "Preparation of Academic Leaders"

Tanta University held the conclusion ceremony of the training course "Preparation of Academic Leaders" today. The event was attended by Prof. Mohamed Hussein, Acting President of the University; Prof. Mahmoud Selim, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Hatem Amin, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research; Prof. Atef Noweir, General Coordinator of the Supreme Council of Centers and Units; Prof. Alaa Halwish, Executive Manager of the Main Center for Sustainable Training; and many managers of university centers.

   During the closing session, participants shared their feedback and suggestions for improving future courses as for the training content and the organizational framework, and their questions were answered.

   It is worth noting that the course, organized by Tanta University from November 10 to 12, 2024, was hosted by the Main Center for Sustainable Training subordinate to the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector. Over the three-day period, the course covered several issues, including the effective role of universities in political and community engagement, financial governance and feasibility studies, postgraduate studies and international rankings, legal aspects of leadership, genetic engineering and its progress toward fourth-generation universities, and the bylaws of credit-hour systems and interdisciplinary programs. The course was attended by 27 trainees.
