Prof. Mahmoud Selim during his meeting with the Director of Egypt Digital Innovation Hub in Tanta:

Prof. Mahmoud Selim, Tanta University Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, received Prof. Nasr El-Din Abdel Aziz, Director of the Egypt Digital Innovation Hub and Director of the Information Technology Institute in Tanta, in his office to discuss potential areas of cooperation between Tanta University and the hubs.
Prof. Mahmoud Selim declared that the meeting included extensive discussions on the interconnection between training and qualification systems in knowledge and skill development, and the current and future labor market needs. These discussions align with the principles of the National Strategy for Higher Education and Scientific Research and the National Policy for Sustainable Innovation, launched last month. He affirmed that Egyptian higher education institutions serve as the technical and advisory body of the Egyptian state in developmental strategies at both intellectual and executive levels to achieve the goals of Egypt’s Vision 2030.
Moreover, Tanta University Vice President added that the university, through its strategic and operational plans, aims to enhance graduates' efficiency and competitive capabilities, ultimately producing highly qualified professionals who meet developmental needs and labor market challenges at the local, regional, and international levels. He indicated that integrated collaboration with national institutions is a cornerstone of Tanta University's strategy to achieve its goals.
In addition, Prof. Selim also commended the pivotal role played by Egypt Digital Innovation Hubs in sharpening the skills of university students and graduates. He expressed his appreciation for Prof. Nasr El-Din Abdel Aziz’s continuous efforts and his commitment to fostering collaboration with Tanta University.
