The Council Extends its Congratulations to Prof. Mohamed Hussein on the Occasion of the Presidential Decree Appointing him as President of Tanta University.
Prof. Mahmoud Selim, Vice President of Tanta University for Community Service and Environmental Development, chaired today the periodical meeting of the Sector Council. The meeting was attended by Prof. Mohamed Ibrahim, Acting Dean of Faculty of Applied Arts; faculty vice deans for community service and environmental development; Major General Engr. Mohamed Abdel Fattah Youssef, Chairman of the Board of Drinking Water and Sanitation Company; Engr. Nasser Hassan Ismail, Undersecretary of the Directorate of Education in Gharbia; Engr. Mohamed Abdullah Kotb from the Environmental Affairs Agency; Dr. Adel Mohamed Abdel Aziz, Undersecretary of the Directorate of Veterinary Medicine in Gharbia; Ms. Hasnaa Ahmed Ibrahim, Undersecretary of the Directorate of Social Solidarity in Gharbia; and Mr. Mohamed Abdel Karim El-Sharkasy, Director of the Environment Department in Gharbia Governorate.
In the beginning of his speech, Prof. Mahmoud Selim extended its congratulations to Prof. Mohamed Hussein on the occasion of the presidential decree appointing him as President of Tanta University, wishing him continued success in his new responsibilities.
Moreover, Prof. Selim explained that Egypt’s national policy for sustainable innovation aims to support student and fresh graduate innovations by providing an environment that fosters innovation and entrepreneurship, securing funding, linking scientific research with industry, developing curricula, building capacity and nurturing talent—with the ultimate goal of transforming Egypt into a knowledge-based, innovative, and sustainable society, enhancing its regional and global competitiveness.
