Prof. Mahmoud Selim Reviews the Financial Performance and Institutional Collaboration in an Expanded Meeting of Center and Unit Directors

Under the directives of Prof. Mohamed Hussein, Tanta University President, Prof. Mahmoud Selim reviews financial performance and institutional collaboration during an expanded meeting of the directors of the university’s centers and units.

    Tanta University convened an expanded meeting of the directors of centers and units, chaired by Prof. Mahmoud Selim, University Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and attended by Prof. Mohamed Ibrahim, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Law, and Prof. Atef Noweir, General Coordinator of Centers and Units, along with a distinguished group of directors of main centers and special units across the university’s faculties.

    With the participation of a representative of the Egypt Post Authority in Gharbia Governorate, the meeting commenced with a presentation by the authority highlighting prospects for cooperation and the logistical services available to the university. This was followed by a presentation delivered by Prof. Mahmoud Selim on an innovative business model aimed at developing the sector, in addition to a review of the recommendations of the committee concerned with monitoring financial performance and the comparative analysis of revenues for the first quarter of the fiscal year 2025–2026 compared to the same period of the previous year.

   The meeting also featured a presentation by Prof. Hager Alam El-Din, Director of the Main Center for Economic Centers and Units, on the financial performance of the economic centers during the first quarter of the fiscal year 2025–2026. Additionally, Prof. Alaa Halawish, Director of the Main Center for Sustainable Training, delivered a presentation on the financial performance of the training centers during the same quarter and its comparison with the previous year.

   Prof. Mahmoud Selim affirmed that the implementation of digital transformation systems and financial and administrative governance represents a cornerstone in improving the strategic and executive outcomes of the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector. He indicated that these digital systems ensure the highest levels of transparency and accuracy in monitoring and analyzing the technical and financial performance of training centers and economic units. Moreover, he pointed out that the improvement in financial performance indicators during the first quarter of the current fiscal year is a direct result of adopting these modern systems, which contribute to maximizing the university’s self-generated resources and supporting its sustainable development plans.

   Prof. Mahmoud Selim extended his sincere thanks and appreciation to Prof. Mohamed Hussein, Tanta University President, for his continuous support and generous patronage of all activities of the Community Service Sector, confirming that this support is the primary driving force behind the success of centers and units in achieving their targeted objectives.

    The meeting concluded with a ceremony honoring the directors of the highest-performing centers and units in terms of revenues during the first quarter of the current fiscal year, in recognition of their excellence in carrying out assigned tasks and their effective role in advancing the university’s administrative and financial system.
