Prof. Mahmoud Selim Commends the Role of the SCU Secretary-General and Tanta University President in the Success of the Delta Region Environmental Forum

    Prof. Mahmoud Selim, Tanta University Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, expressed his profound appreciation and gratitude to Prof. Mustafa Refaat, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Universities (SCU), for his effective participation and distinguished presence at the events of the "First Environmental Forum of the Delta Region Universities Alliance." He affirmed that the Secretary-General's keen interest in attending and supporting such events demonstrates a far-sighted vision in enhancing joint efforts among academic institutions to achieve sustainable development goals.

   Moreover, the Vice President also extended thanks and appreciation to Prof. Mohamed Hussein, Tanta University President, emphasizing that his full support was the driving force behind the forum's great success. He pointed out that the University President directed the mobilization of all the university's material and human resources, along with the removal of all obstacles, to ensure the success of the events — reflecting Tanta University's pioneering role as a hub for regional alliance initiatives.

   In addition, Prof. Mahmoud Selim noted that the forum served as an exceptional platform for collaboration, featuring broad participation from 13 universities and high-level attendance by university presidents and vice presidents. He declared that this major academic gathering underscores the success of the Delta Region Alliance in forming a unified front to address environmental challenges. He stressed that the concerted efforts of higher education leaders had the greatest impact in enriching the forum's sessions and producing practical recommendations that serve the community and the environment.
