The event was also attended by Dr. El-Sayed El-Iraqi, Director General of Executive Affairs; Mr. Mohamed Fotouh, Director of the Security Department; and Mr. El-Sayed Donia, General Supervisor of Art Education.
The festival featured a series of specialized artistic workshops organized in cooperation between the Faculty and the Directorate of Education in Gharbia. Approximately 60 talented male and female students from general and technical education schools participated in these workshops. There was a dynamic interaction between faculty members from the Department of Art Education, art education supervisors, and the participating students of various age groups. The workshops focused on training students in modern painting techniques and methods of using natural materials such as stones and wood, transforming them into artistic paintings. This, in turn, contributed to refining their manual skills and enhancing their creative capacities using locally available materials.
An exhibition held alongside the festival was also toured, showcasing many products made by the faculty students that reflected their high academic standards and the development of their artistic skills.
The Undersecretary and the accompanying delegation praised the quality and precision of the exhibited works, noting that the event represents a source of pride for the educational system in Gharbia and highlights the faculty’s leading role in preparing a generation of artists capable of competing at a high level.
The festival program also included rhythm and expressive movement performances, as well as a variety of musical presentations delivered by students of the Department of Music Education.
At the end of the day, the participating students were honored with certificates of appreciation, presented by Prof. Sherif Rabie Abdel Rahman, Faculty Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development. Moreover, the supervisors from the Directorate of Education in Gharbia and the accompanying teachers were also recognized.
The Faculty of Specific Education at Tanta University, represented by Prof. Rania Abdo El-Emam, Faculty Dean, and Prof. Sherif Rabie Abdel Rahman, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, expressed its sincere appreciation and gratitude to the leadership of Tanta University and to all participants from the Directorate of Education in Gharbia for their valuable contribution to the success of this major event.
