During his Participation in Orthopedic Surgery Conference at Tanta University, Prof. 'Emad 'Etman, “Unprecedented Progress in the Medical Sector and Enhancement of International Partnerships”

   Prof. 'Emad 'Etman, University Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, has affirmed that Tanta University has unprecedented progress in the medical sector with all its specializations and medical edifices such as hospitals, centers and units. These words were mentioned during his participation in inauguration of the conference organized by Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Faculty of Medicine in cooperation with Egyptian Orthopedic Association (EOA) under patronage of Prof. Magdi Sab', University President; Prof. Mustafa Al-Sheikh, Acting Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research; and Prof. Ahmed Ghoneim, Dean of Faculty of Medicine at Tanta University.

   University Vice President indicated that Tanta University under leadership of Prof. Magdi Sab' was keen on supporting the medical sector through providing training opportunities in all specialties and creating scientific partnerships with leading Arab and international medical institutions.  

   Dr. Mahmoud Al-Rasasy, Coordinator of the Conference, commended pioneers and professors of orthopedic surgery at Tanta University and their pioneering role in preparation and qualification of youth surgeons. He added that the conference aimed to exchange experience and medical visions that contributed to development of orthopedic surgery including injuries and pediatric orthopedic surgery, artificial joints, microscopic surgeries, and vertebral column surgeries.  

      Prof. Mohammed Shafik Said, Prof. Walid Eweis, Coordinator of the Conference; Prof. Tarek Abo Al-Nor, Head of the Department; Prof. Anis Sheha, Head of Egyptian Orthopedic Association; Prof. Abdel Salam Eid, General Secretary of the Association; Prof. Amr Zo'eir, Vice Dean of Faculty of Medicine at Tanta University, and a huge group of orthopedic professors took part in the Conference.
