Sports Activity
Sports Activity Department is one of the most effective departments at Youth Welfare Administration. It participates, through its variant activities, with the other departments to develop sports awareness of students, and refines their personalities via the internal tournament at the level of the university and the external one at the level of the Egyptian universities.
Electronic Games
Under patronage of Prof. Mahmoud Zaki, Tanta University President; and Prof. Mohammed Hussein Mahmoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Tanta University participated in the Egyptian Universities Tournament entitled, “Martyr Al-Refa’i 49” in the academic year 2021\2022 in cooperation with Egyptian Sports Federation for Universities
The university also took part in the Electronic Games Tournament that was held at Kafr Al-Shaikh University in the period from December 9th to 10th, 2021.
Social Activity and Trips Department
The department is considered one of the vital and targeted departments at Youth Welfare Administration. It works on deepening social awareness of youth, linking the university to the external environmental, harnessing all the capabilities of the university to serve the environment, training students on leadership and subordination, and developing a spirit of belonging and loyalty through the various student activities provided by the administration.
Artistic Activity
In Kafr Al-Shaikh, the university organized a week for students from all Egyptian universities to enhance the spirit of belonging and cooperation. Kafr Al-Shaikh University formed a number of coordination committees to prepare for the week in the period from January 30th to February 7th, 2019. Tanta University participated in the activities of the week with the choir team and gained the second rank’s shield at the level of the participating Egyptian universities.
Cultural Activity
• The theatrical team participated in the youth ceremony that was held in Al-Manara Hall in Cairo in attendance of Mrs. Entisar Al-Sisi, President’s Wife, on February 7th, 2019
• Participating in the events of Sadat University Initiative for Student Exchange in the period from July 28th to July 30th, 2019
• Participating in Egyptian Universities’ Youth Week at Kafr Al-Shaikh University in the period from January 30th, to February 7th, 2019. Tanta University ranked second in music at the level of the participating universities
Student Families
Participating in the Families and Student Unions Forum under the slogan, “Together towards a Prominent Future) in Alexandria Youth City, in the period from Saturday, February 9th to Thursday, February 14th, 2019. The students attended the e-marketing course and received certificates of appreciation. The group of Tanta University students presented an initiative to eradicate the C virus in one of the villages of Gharbia Governorate. The initiative gained the admiration of the attendees from other universities.
Scout and Public Service
The university participated in the 12th week of university students that was held in Kafr Al-Shaikh University in the period from January 30th to February 6th, 2019. The university ranked first in various activities.
The university participated in Helwan camp in the period from January 27th to January 30th, 2019
The university participated in the Entrepreneurship Rally Competition that was organized by the Arab Academy under patronage of Al-Ahly Bank in the period from April 18th to 19th, 2019.
The university held a camp at the Medical Campus for preparing and selecting the participating delegation in the 30th Apical Forum of ideal students at the level of Egyptian universities in the period from August 1st to 10th, 2019.
