Leadership Development
On September 21st, 2022, Mr. Mohammed Al-Qasseer, General Manager of Youth Welfare, participated in the events of the workshop entitled, “Generation Leaders” that was organized by Leaders Development Institute in Alexandria Youth City. It was held under patronage of Prof. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research; under leadership of Prof. Karim Hammam, Manager of the Institute; and under supervision of Dr. Hossam Addin Mustafa Al-Sheriff and Dr. Abdul Mun’em Al-Gelany, Deputy Managers.

Under patronage of Prof. Mahmoud Zaki, Tanta University President; and Prof. Mohammed Hussein Mahmoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Tanta University participated in University Olympics for Girls that was organized by Ministry of Youth and Sports and was held in the International Youth Hostel in Luxor in the period from December 5th to 9th, 2021 in Luxor.

Under patronage of Prof. Mahmoud Zaki, Tanta University President; and Prof. Mohammed Hussein Mahmoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Tanta University participated in the Futsal Arab Tournament in South Valley in the period from November 13th to 18th, 2021.

Under patronage of Prof. Mahmoud Zaki, Tanta University President; Prof. Mohammed Hussein Mahmoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Magdy Wakwak, Coordinator of Student Activities; and Mr. Mohammed Al-Qasseer, General Manager of Youth Welfare, the football team participated in Egypt Cup Championship that was organized by the Egyptian Sports Federation for Universities and Institutes and was hosted by Alexandria University in the period from August 20th to 26th, 2022.

Students with Special Needs
Under patronage of Prof. Mahmoud Zaki, Tanta University President; Prof. Mohammed Hussein Mahmoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Magdy Wakwak, Coordinator of Student Activities; and Mr. Mohammed Al-Qasseer, General Manager of Youth Welfare, the Universities Tournament for Students with Special Needs was inaugurated on November 7th, 2022 in the Sports Hall for Students with Special Needs in Sibirbay Campus.
The tournament included (the bell ball – weight lifting – table tennis – gymnastics)

Social Activity and Trips
Social Activity Department started conducting medical examination on new students on September 25th, 2021.
The department also organized the Ideal Student Competition at the university level for the academic year 2021\2022 at Faculty of Business.

Student Unions
A delegation from outstanding university students participated in the Arab Union for Youth and Environment that was held under the title, “Hazardous E-Waste and Role of University Youth in Secure Disposal” in the period from May 27th to May 29th, 2021.
A delegation of Tanta University Students participated in the Arab Forum entitled, “Climate Change and its Impact on Heritage Cities” that was held in the period from December 3rd to 9th, 2021.

The General Administration of Youth Welfare at Tanta University organized a religious symposium entitled “The Isra’ and the Mi'raj, Scientific Miracles “on March 3rd, 2022. It was held under patronage of Prof. Mahmoud Zaki, University President, and Prof. Mohamed Hussein, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, in attendance of Prof. Hamdy Shaaban, Acting Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development.

Tanta University participates in the 1st Informative Forum of Digital Markets and Future Jobs which tackled some vital issues such as the 4th industrial revolution and metaverse. It was held in the period from February 27th to March 1st, 2022, in the Olympic Center in Ma’adi.
