Decent Life
Under patronage of Prof. Mahmoud Zaki, Tanta University President; and Prof. Mohammed Hussein Mahmoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; under supervision of Mr. Mohammed Al-Qasser, General Manager of Youth Welfare, the General Administration of Youth Welfare organized a visit to the villages of Nahtay and Shershaba, Zefta District with a delegation formed of 50 students on Wednesday, October 5th, 2022 on the occasion of celebrating October victories.
The delegation visited the national and developmental projects of the presidential initiative, Decent Life.
Under patronage of Prof. Mahmoud Zaki, Tanta University President; and Prof. Mohammed Hussein Mahmoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; in attendance of Prof. Mahmoud Salim, Vice President of Tanta University for Community Service and Environmental Development; Dr. Zainab Samy, General Coordinator of Decent Life Initiative in Gharbia; and Mr. Ibrahim Fayed, Chairman of Zefta District, the General Administration of Youth Welfare at Tanta University organized the second field visit to Nahtay village, Zefta District, on October 17th, 2022, to inspect all the achievements of the projects implemented by Decent Life Initiative. It was in cooperation with the SCU and Decent Life Foundation. The visit aims to increase youth’s awareness of the national projects that create new fields in the labor market.
Under patronage of Prof. Mahmoud Zaki, Tanta University President; and Prof. Mohammed Hussein Mahmoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; under supervision of Mr. Mohammed Al-Qasser, General Manager of Youth Welfare, the General Administration of Youth Welfare organized the third visit in the same month to Sonbat village, Zefta District. It was organized in cooperation with the SCU and Decent Life Foundation to disseminate the culture of social work and volunteerism among university students.
Artistic Training Center
Seeking to form a creative generation, Artistic Training Department holds training centers for music, choir, and folklore as a preparation for participation in university ceremonies and the apical competitions at the level of Egyptian and Arabic universities.
Scout Training Centers
The aim of the scout is to contribute to developing youth’s skills at the physical, mental, spiritual, social and artistic aspects. It tries to invest their abilities in developing and serving the local and international communities via practicing all the aspects of scout activities.
The center works on:
• Training the scout team on craft skills, maintenance work, and holding camps for forestation, painting, beautification, and guidance signs
• Forming training teams to implement medical, sports, and social convoys
• Identifying the problems and characteristics of the community
Under patronage of Prof. Mahmoud Zaki, Tanta University President; and Prof. Mohammed Hussein Mahmoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; under supervision of Prof. Mohammed Al-Qasser, General Manager of Youth Welfare; and the Poet\ Mustafa Ahmed Mansour, Manager of the Cultural Activity Department, the university was the first to get the approval for holding the Permanent Center for Cultural and Artistic Innovation at the General Administration for Youth Welfare. The Center was held in the light of the approval of the University Council in its session that was held on March 21st, 2021. The first events of the center were held in November 2021. The center included the following fields:
• Literature
• Religious chanting
• Geniuses’ Tournament
• Artistic and visual taste
• Radio and TV reports
• Sports Performance for students with special needs
Under patronage of Prof. Mahmoud Zaki, Tanta University President; and Prof. Mohammed Hussein Mahmoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affair, the General Administration of Youth Welfare at Tanta University participated in the Second Forum for the Student Family, “For the Sake of Egypt” that was held in the Youth City in Abu Queer, Alexandria. It was held in the period from October 14th to 16th, 2022.
Visits
Under patronage of Prof. Mahmoud Zaki, Tanta University President; and Prof. Mohammed Hussein Mahmoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affair, a delegation formed from university students visited a number of the national projects:
• On March 13th, 2023, they visited the Egyptian Black Sand Company
• On March 14th, 2023, 48 students visited the Industrial Area in Al-Mahalla Al-Kobra
• On March 21st, 2023, they visited the National Company for Land Reclamation & Agriculture in Toshka
• On March 22nd, 2023, they visited the Greenhouses Project in Mohammed Naguib Base
• On March 19th, 2023, they visited the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT)
• On March 20th, 2023, they visited the Air Force Academy
• On April 13th, 2023, they visited the Industrial Area in Al-Mahalla Al-Kobra
• On May 15th, 2023, they visited the Integrated Livestock and Dairy Production Complex in Sadat City, Menoufia
