Vice President of Tanta University Inspects Admissions Coordination Office, Urges Student-Friendly Procedures
Prof. Al-Sayyed Al-Agouz, Vice President of Tanta University for Education and Student Affairs, inspected the coordination office of Tanta University to assess its readiness for the first phase of the 2026 General Secondary Certificate admissions process, which began today and will continue for five consecutive days, ending on Sunday.
During the tour, he was received by Dr. Ayman Al-Fakhrany, Director of Information Technology Clubs; Dr. Haitham Al-Koumy, Director General of Education at the university; and Mr. Ahmed Safa, the university admissions coordination liaison.
The visit formed part of the university efforts to ensure comprehensive logistical and organizational preparations for students and their families. Prof. Al-Agouz directed officials to provide a fully equipped waiting area for parents adjacent to the admissions office and to implement designated entry and exit routes for students to minimize congestion and facilitate a smooth admissions process.
He affirmed that Tanta University has mobilized its human and technological resources to deliver efficient academic and administrative services throughout the coordination period. The university has also assigned experienced student affairs specialists and skilled data-entry personnel to ensure students' application preferences are recorded accurately and without delays.
In addition, Prof. Al-Agouz instructed staff members and student volunteers responsible for data entry to provide a warm welcome and full assistance to applicants. He emphasized the continuous presence of experienced student affairs specialists to guide students and respond promptly to inquiries regarding faculty admissions and academic program preferences.
