Under Patronage of Tanta University President, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs Attends Closing of “Managing My Money Wisely” Training Program
Tanta University has concluded the activities of the training program, “How to Manage My Money Wisely” (Managing My Money Wisely), held under patronage of Prof. Mohammed Hussain, President of Tanta University, and under leadership of Prof. Al-Sayyed Al-Agouz, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Mahmoud Salim, Acting Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development.
The program was organized by the National Council for Women in cooperation with the Main Center for Community Public Services.
The closing session was attended by Prof. Al-Sayyed Al-Agouz, Vice President of the University. It covered a range of important topics, including risk management, insurance services, and the concept of risk insurance, to enhance the participants’ financial and economic awareness and equipping female students with practical skills to make sound financial decisions in their daily lives.
At the conclusion of the program, the relevant organizers distributed financial incentives provided by the National Council for Women to the participating students as an encouragement and as part of efforts to promote their economic empowerment.
The closing ceremony also featured an interactive cultural and knowledge competition covering the skills and topics addressed throughout the training and assessing the students’ understanding and benefit from the program. Financial inclusion representatives from Banque Misr presented valuable gifts to the winners and participants, in addition to providing each student with a free bank card, encouraging them to use digital banking services and strengthening their financial literacy.
It is worth noting that the “Managing My Money Wisely” program is an international program developed by the International Labour Organization (ILO). Its implementation at the university is part of the efforts of the National Council for Women to benefit from high-quality international training programs and expand their availability to young women across different governorates, contributing to the development of their financial knowledge and skills.
The program relied on interactive training methods and practical exercises designed to help students acquire real-life financial skills that can be applied in their daily lives. The initiative aims to prepare a generation that is more financially aware and better equipped to manage its resources and plan effectively for the future.
