University Vice President Inspects the Regularity of Studies at Sibirbay Campus as the New Academic Year Begins
Prof. Al-Sayyed Al-Agouz, Vice President of Tanta University for Education and Student Affairs, conducted an inspection tour of several faculties at Sibirbay Campus, including the Faculties of Physical Education, Engineering, Agriculture, and Computer and Information, to monitor the regularity of the educational process as the new academic year begins.
The Vice President emphasized that these field visits are being conducted in implementation of the directives of Prof. Mohammed Hussain, President of Tanta University, and as part of the commitment of the University Administration to monitoring the educational process across its faculties, ensuring that classes are running regularly from the first day, and providing students with a suitable educational environment.
During his visit to Faculty of Computer and Information, Prof. Al-Agouz met with a number of students, emphasizing that specialization in artificial intelligence and data analytics represents a step toward the tools of the future and the demands of the global labor market. He noted the university commitment to providing an advanced educational environment and academic resources that meet international standards and enhance students’ skills. He also encouraged students to make the most of learning opportunities and actively participate in student and creative activities, contributing to the development of their personalities and their abilities in innovation and critical thinking.
At Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Al-Agouz began his visit with a welcoming tour for new and returning students. He followed up on the regularity of classes and lectures according to the published schedules and reviewed the regularity of academic and administrative operations. The tour also included visits to examination control committees and a follow-up on the progress made regarding the reports of the University Review Committee, with an emphasis on providing all necessary support to students, academic staff, and administrative staff.
At Faculty of Agriculture, Prof. Al-Agouz followed up on students’ attendance in classrooms and various laboratories, including the Soil and Water, Soil-Plant-Water Analysis, and Research Laboratories. He also reviewed the workflow at the Tissue Culture Unit. He stressed the importance of promptly completing the organization of class schedules and monitoring students’ attendance at lectures and practical sessions in appropriately sized groups to ensure a suitable educational environment. He wished the students a distinguished and successful academic year.
At Faculty of Sports Science, the Vice President followed up on the educational process by inspecting theoretical and practical lectures as well as sports training sessions, emphasizing the importance of integration between theoretical and practical education. He also attended the orientation program for new students, which introduced them to university life, regulations, services, and available activities.
The tour also included an inspection of several faculty facilities and sports amenities, as well as follow-up on ongoing maintenance and renovation work at the swimming pool. He stressed the importance of completing the development work promptly and improving the efficiency of the sports facilities.
