The Closing Events of the Student Exchange Program of Arab Universities 2024



Acting Tanta University President thanks the Arab Council for Training and Student Innovation, and the participating Arab universities.
     The closing events of the Student Exchange Program of Arab Universities 2024 were held yesterday evening. The events were attended by a delegation of oriental universities including A'Sharqiyah, Nizwa, Taiz, Al-Rowad and Al-Saeed. The delegation’s visit to the university lasted for 4 weeks, in the context of the Arab Forum to Exchange Training for Students of Arab Universities. The closing events were held in attendance of Prof. Mohamed Hussein, Acting President of Tanta University, and Prof. Ahmed Ghoneim, Dean of Faculty of Medicine at Tanta University and Chairman of University Hospitals’ Board.

   During the speech he delivered, Prof. Mohamed Hussein welcomed the students of the exchange program and expressed his pleasure to host them at Tanta University. He affirmed that the university is committed to offering all forms of support and care to the students participating in the program to enhance the relations among students of Arab universities and to exchange cultures and knowledge. In addition, he thanked all teams of the university for the efforts they exerted during the students’ visit and for presenting quality training and recreational programs.

   Further, Prof. Mohamed Hussein expressed his gratitude and appreciation to Prof. Fawaz Al-Zaghul, Manager of the Arab Council, and Eng. Jihad Al-Kharraz, Assistant Manager of the Arab Council for Training and Student Innovation, for their efforts throughout the previous period, which led to success of the training program.
   Furthermore, all students expressed their pleasure with being at Tanta University. They praised the accommodation and the training and recreational programs provided by the university. They presented the shields of A'Sharqiyah, Nizwa, Taiz, Al-Rowad, and Al-Saeed universities to Prof. Mohamed Hussein in appreciation of his efforts in making the student exchange forum a success. At the end of the events, Prof. Mohamed Hussein handed the students their training certificates.
