Prof. Mohammed Hussein Chairs the Periodic Meeting of Education and Student Affairs Sector
Prof. Mohammed Hussein, Acting Tanta University President and Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, chaired today the periodic meeting of Education and Student Affairs Sector in attendance of Vice Deans for Education and Student Affairs, members of Education and Student Affairs Committee, and Dr. Haitham Al-Komy, General Manager of Education at the University.
During the meeting, Prof. Mohammed Hussein announced the determined dates and regulations of the exams of the unified central competition issued by the Supreme Council of Universities (SCU) for the technical school students who want to join Faculties of Agriculture, Law, Business, and Engineering. In addition, he announced the schedule of the new academic year 2024\2025. He also tackled issues related to applying the decrees issued by the University Counsil and related to re-enrollment of students who were dismissed because of exceeding the allowed number of failures and accepting them into Faculties of Business, Law, and Arts according to their score in the secondary school certificate.
After that, Prof. Mohammed Hussein congratulated Prof. Sherin Abdel Mawla on issuing a decree appointing her as Vice Dean of Faculty of Dentistry for Education and Student Affairs. He also congratulated Prof. Amany Al-Behairy, Vice Dean of Faculty of Physical Education for Education and Student Affairs as her son, Mohammed Al-Sayyed Samy, gained the bronze medal in Olympic Games Paris 2024.
Moreover, Prof. Mohammed Hussein honored Prof. Eman Sehsah, Former Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs at Faculty of Education; and Prof. Tafida Mohammed Abdel Gawwad, Vice Dean of Faculty of Arts for Education and Student Affairs, as appreciation for their efforts during the period of being vice deans.
