In His First Field Tour to Monitor Examinations, Prof. Al-Sayyed Al-Agouz Inspects Oral Examinations at Faculty of Arts


   In his first field tour to follow-up the examinations of the first semester, Prof. Al-Sayyed Al-Agouz, Vice President of Tanta University for Education and Student Affairs, inspected the progress of the oral examinations at the Faculty of Arts. He was received by Prof. Mamdouh Al-Masry, Acting Dean of the Faculty; Prof. Abdel Razzaq Al-Koumy, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research; Prof. Hala Nada, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; and Prof. Ra’fat Abul Enein, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development.
   The tour included monitoring the regularity of the oral examinations and ensuring that all appropriate conditions were provided for the students. He stressed on creating a calm and comfortable environment inside the examination halls to prevent any stress that might affect students’ performance. Prof. Al-Agouz stressed the necessity of addressing any obstacles immediately to ensure the smooth and efficient conduct of the examination process.
   Following that, Prof. Al-Agouz inspected the educational laboratories of the Department of Geography and Geographic Information Systems (GIS), as well as lecture halls and auditoriums. He praised the facilities for their modern capabilities and equipment that support the educational process, and commended the significant efforts exerted by the new administration of the faculty to develop academic and administrative work.
   Prof. Al-Sayyed Al-Agouz affirmed the constant keenness of the university to closely monitor the regularity of both oral and written examinations across all faculties from the very first day, to ensure applying the highest standards of transparency and fairness. He also praised the efforts of Faculty of Arts in providing an advanced educational environment, particularly the laboratories equipped with the latest technologies, which reflects the commitment of the faculty to improving the quality of education and scientific research.
   Prof. Al-Agouz concluded his tour by inspecting the Knowledge Embassy affiliated with the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, located at Faculty of Arts. He reviewed the various services it offers to students and researchers, emphasizing its important role in enriching the knowledge resources available to students and scholars.
