In a Surprising Night Tour, Vice President of Tanta University Inspects University Hostels to Ensure Student Services


   Prof. Al-Sayyed Al-Agouz, Vice President of Tanta University for Education and Student Affairs, conducted a surprising inspection tour last night that included the university hostels in Sibirbay (male and female students) as well as Al-Yasmin Hostel. The tour is a part of the strategy of the university of direct follow-up to ensure the quality of student living conditions within the university campus. He was welcomed by Dr. Ramadan Ma’en, Supervisor of the University Hostels.
   During the tour, Prof. Al-Agouz met with a large number of students and listened to their views regarding the quality of meals, the efficiency of internet services, and the level of accommodation in the hostels. He stressed that developing the hostel infrastructure and providing comfort for students are among the university top priorities.
   Safety and security topped the agenda of the inspection, as the tour went beyond assessing living services to include a thorough review of all safety and occupational health requirements to ensure the protection of students and facilities from any potential risks. Prof. Al-Agouz emphasized that the university adopts a “Students First” philosophy, noting that university hostels are not merely places of residence but an integrated educational environment. He added that the university does not rely solely on office reports, but rather on unannounced field inspections to ensure sustained quality. He gave his directives to address any obstacles facing students immediately to provide a disciplined and secure environment and to help them improve their academic achievement.
   For his part, Dr. Ramadan Ma’en affirmed full commitment to the instructions of Prof. Al-Sayyed Al-Agouz, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, underscoring the importance of maintaining student safety and health in accordance with local and international standards. He also appreciated the Vice President’s regular and continuous follow-up of the university hostels.
