Tanta University Announces Quarter-finalists of the Ramadan Futsal Tournament


   Tanta University announced today the conclusion of the preliminary rounds of its Ramadan futsal tournament, which featured a festive and enthusiastic atmosphere reflecting the high level of sportsmanship among the university students. The competitions were held under patronage of President of Tanta University, and Prof. Al-Sayyed Al-Agouz, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs.
   After strong and technically competitive matches that showcased exceptional skills from the participating teams, eight faculties secured their places in the quarterfinals:
Faculty of Computer and Information, Faculty of Science, Faculty of Dentistry, Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of Nursing, Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Sports Science, and Faculty of Engineering
   Prof. Al-Sayyed Al-Agouz, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, expressed his pride in the ethical conduct and technical level demonstrated by the students during the preliminary rounds. He emphasized that Tanta University believes building a student’s character is completed by supporting student activities that channel their energy in positive ways. He congratulated the eight faculties that qualified thanks to their determination and outstanding performance, expecting the quarterfinal round to feature very strong competition. He also invited all students to follow the matches in a spirit of sportsmanship that reflects the reputation of the university.
   The quarterfinal matches are scheduled to begin today, Wednesday, March 4th, 2026, as attention turns to the fields to watch the decisive matches that will determine the teams advancing to the semifinals on the path to the championship title.
   The event was organized under supervision of Dr. Magdy Wakwak, General Coordinator of Student Activities, and Dr. Mohammed Al-Qassir, General Director of the General Administration of Student Welfare.
