Vice President of Tanta University Chairs the Education and Student Affairs Sector Meeting to Discuss Exam Preparations and New Admission Regulations.
Prof. Al-Sayyed Al-Agouz, Vice President of Tanta University for Education and Student Affairs, chaired the seventh session of the Sector Council for the academic year 2025/2026. The meeting witnessed high-level attendance, including Prof. Afaf Basal, Dean of Faculty of Nursing; Prof. Hany Sa’eed, Dean of Faculty of Sports Science; Prof. Mohammed Ibrahim, Acting Dean of Faculty of Applied Arts; Prof. Nancy Al-Hefnawy, Acting Dean of Faculty of Computer and Information, in addition to a group of university professors, faculty vice deans, and directors of education and registration departments.
At the beginning of the session, Prof. Al-Agouz expressed academic appreciation, extending sincere thanks to Prof. Mohammed Nowair, Full Professor at Faculty of Science, praising his significant contributions during his membership in the council, particularly in developing internal regulations and distinguished academic programs. He also welcomed the new members of the council, Prof. Ahmed Al-Sabahy and Prof. Amal Kabbash, wishing them success in their duties in support of the educational system.
Prof. Al-Agouz issued firm directives regarding close monitoring of examinations and accurate electronic grading. He emphasized assigning the IT Unit to complete uploading all course materials for all programs and levels across faculties, while ensuring that the exam monitoring platform is continuously updated with real-time data and precise schedules to guarantee orderly conduct of examination committees.
The council also reviewed mechanisms for handling cases of cheating or misconduct during exams, with instructions to activate disciplinary boards in faculties and involve student affairs departments in legally documenting incidents. Discussions also focused on reviewing statistics of general programs and their titles in accordance with approved internal regulations to ensure alignment with modern academic standards.
Prof. Al-Sayyed Al-Agouz concluded the meeting with stressing the importance of promptly finalizing student admission numbers for various faculties for the academic year 2025/2026. He directed that capacity limits of faculties and labor market requirements to be taken into consideration to ensure the delivery of high-quality educational services befitting the status of the university.
