Vice President of Tanta University Chairs the Regular Education and Student Affairs Council Meeting for May
Prof. Al-Sayyed Al-Agouz, Vice President of Tanta University for Education and Student Affairs, chaired the regular meeting of the Education and Student Affairs Council for May. The meeting was attended by Prof. Afaf Bassal, Dean of Faculty of Nursing; Prof. Hany Al-Sa’eed Dean of Faculty of Sports Science; Prof. Nancy Al-Hefnawy, Acting Dean of Faculty of Computer and Information; Prof. Mohammed Ibrahim, Acting Dean of Faculty of Applied Arts; Prof. Ahmed Al-Seba’ey and Dr. Amal Kabbash, experienced council members; the Vice Deans for Education and Student Affairs in the university faculties; Dr. Haitham Al-Koumy, Director General of Education and Student Affairs Sector; and Dr. Ghada Arafa, Director of the Registration and Examinations Department.
The session witnessed strict directives from the Vice President regarding the full adherence to administrative and legal regulations, as well as compliance with the decisions of the University Council regulating examination procedures, coinciding with the launch of the second semester exams of the academic year 2025/2026 across various faculties.
The council also reviewed the ongoing arrangements in preparation for the operations of the Sub-Coordination Office at Tanta University ahead of the university admission process for the academic year 2026/2027, in addition to monitoring preparations for the aptitude tests in the Faculties of Sports Science and Applied Arts for prospective students.
The attendees also discussed proposals from the various university faculties regarding the target number of students to be admitted in the following academic year, including Egyptian students with general secondary certificates and technical diplomas, in preparation for submission to the relevant higher councils.
