Vice President of Tanta University Follows-up Regularity of the Final Exams and Checks Safety, Measurement, and Evaluation System at Faculty of Education
Prof. Al-Sayyed Al-Agouz, Vice President of Tanta University for Education and Student Affairs, followed-up today regularity of the final exams at Faculty of Education within the framework of the regular field visit to follow-up the exams at the different faculties and provide means of comfort and safety to the students.
He was accompanied by Prof. Ahmed Helal, Faculty Dean; and Prof. Walid Samir, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs. During the tour, University Vice President checked on the smooth conduct of the exams, the level of discipline, and adherence to the regulations and instructions by both students and academic staff, as well as ensuring the provision of a suitable environment for students to take their exams comfortably.
Further, Prof. Al-Agouz inspected the occupational safety, health, and security systems. He reviewed the safety and fire protection standards, confirming the full readiness of the systems with the support of a fire unit from the Ministry of Interior Affairs, emphasizing that the safety of students and all university members is a top priority for the university administration.
Furthermore, Prof. Al-Agouz was keen to visit Education and Student Affairs Department to monitor workflow, the mechanisms in place to facilitate students, respond to their inquiries, and provide the necessary administrative support throughout the exam period.
At the end of the tour, University Vice President met Manager of Measurement and Evaluation Unit and reviewed the procedures and key steps in electronic grading and recording of scores, stressing the importance of utmost accuracy and promptness in recording results in real time, thereby ensuring students’ rights and reflecting the commitment to the highest standards of quality and transparency.
