Tanta University Vice President Inspects Final Examination Process at Faculties of Engineering and Arts at Siberbay Campus
Prof. Al-Sayyed Al-Agouz, Vice President of Tanta University for Education and Student Affairs, conducted an extensive inspection tour to monitor the progress of final examinations for the academic year 2025/2026 at Siberbay Campus. The visit included Faculties of Engineering and Arts and was carried out as part of the commitment of the university to ensuring a suitable environment for students and maintaining discipline within examination committees.
The tour began at Faculty of Engineering, where he was received by Prof. Ahmed Nasr, Faculty Dean, and Prof. Yasser Al-Samdouny, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research.
During the visit, Prof. Al-Agouz inspected the Measurement and Evaluation Unit and the examination control centers to review the procedures for electronically scanning and entering answer sheets, as well as the stages of grade processing. He praised the faculty adherence to examination and grading regulations, emphasizing that the university places assessment quality and equal opportunities among its highest priorities to ensure that results are announced on schedule.
In addition, he listened to a presentation by Dr. Wafaa Hammad regarding the technical procedures followed within the Measurement Unit and its direct coordination with examination control heads to address any challenges promptly.
After that, he continued his tour at Faculty of Arts in the presence of Prof. Ahmed Al-Araby, Dean of the Faculty, and Prof. Hala Nada, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs. He inspected lecture halls and examination venues to ensure a calm and appropriate environment for students and to verify full compliance with organizational procedures and regulations.
He also visited the (MIS) Unit and reviewed the electronic grading system used for multiple-choice question (MCQ) examinations, which helps save time and effort while maintaining a high degree of accuracy. In addition, he followed up on the administrative processes accompanying the examination period to ensure the best possible service for students.
At the conclusion of the tour, Prof. Al-Agouz expressed his sincere appreciation for the tangible efforts made by faculty administrations, academic staff, and assistant staff. He commended their effective role in organizing examination committees and responding promptly to any issues faced by students. He also spoke directly with students to gather their feedback on the examination procedures, reaffirming that Tanta University remains committed to implementing all measures necessary to ensure that examinations are conducted with the highest standards of integrity and transparency while serving students’ interests and well-being.
