Under Patronage of Prof. Mohammed Hussain, Tanta University President, Vice President of Tanta University Attends the Closing Ceremony of Student Activities at the Faculty of Sports Science for the Academic Year 2025/2026


   Prof. Al-Sayyed Al-Agouz, Vice President of Tanta University for Education and Student Affairs, attended the closing ceremony of student activities organized by Faculty of Sports Science for the academic year 2025/2026. The event was held as part of the ongoing commitment of Tanta University to honoring outstanding male and female students in various fields of student activities, including sports, cultural, artistic, and social activities.
   The ceremony was held under patronage of Prof. Mohammed Hussain, President of Tanta University, and was attended by Prof. Hany Sa’eed, Faculty Dean; Prof. Fatema Bassiouny, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; Prof. Sheriff Saleh, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research; Prof. Heba Rawhy, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Magdy Wakwak, General Coordinator of Student Activities; along with a distinguished group of academic staff, assistant staff, and students.
   For his part, Prof. Al-Sayyed Al-Agouz emphasized that the achievements witnessed at the Faculty of Sports Science reflect the honorable image of Tanta University aware and creative youth. He noted that student activities are a fundamental pivot and an essential partner in shaping students’ personalities, developing their leadership and physical skills, and promoting the values of teamwork and fair competition. He added that the university administration, under the leadership of Prof. Mohammed Hussain, places great importance on supporting and nurturing talented and distinguished students in all fields.
   He added that the university is always keen to provide an integrated educational environment that combines academic excellence with distinction in extracurricular activities which contributes to preparing graduates capable of leading the future and representing the nation proudly at local and international levels. He also expressed his sincere appreciation to the faculty administration, the General Administration for Student Welfare at the university, and the Student Welfare Department at the faculty for organizing the distinguished event, as well as to the students for their commendable efforts throughout the academic year.
   The ceremony also featured a special recognition of the champion students who participated in national teams and represented Egypt in various international and regional championships. In addition, students who achieved advanced ranks in individual competitions and university contests during the current academic year were honored with certificates of appreciation and excellence shields in recognition of their outstanding athletic achievements. The event also included a variety of impressive sports and artistic performances that showcased the exceptional talents of the students.
