Vice President of Tanta University Chairs the Regular Education and Student Affairs Council Meeting for June 2026


   Prof. Al-Sayyed Al-Agouz, Vice President of Tanta University for Education and Student Affairs, chaired the regular meeting of the Education and Student Affairs Council for June 2026. The meeting was attended by Prof. Afaf Bassal, Dean of Faculty of Nursing; Prof. Mohammed Ibrahim, Acting Dean of Faculty of Applied Arts; Prof. Ahmed Al-Seba’ey and Dr. Amal Kabbash, experienced council members; the Vice Deans for Education and Student Affairs in the university faculties; Dr. Haitham Al-Koumy, Director General of Education and Student Affairs Sector; and Dr. Ghada Arafa, Director of the Registration and Examinations Department.
   Prof. Al-Agouz started the meeting by extending his congratulations to Prof. Fatema Basiouny after issuing a decree appointing her in the position of Vice Dean of Faculty of Sports Science for Education and Student Affairs, wishing her every success. In addition, he thanked Prof. Amany Al-Behairy, the former vice dean, and appreciated her outstanding efforts and dedication during the period of taking the responsibility.
   Before discussing the meeting agenda, Prof. Al-Agouz presented a detailed report on the electronic platform for monitoring the second-semester examinations for the academic year 2025/2026, aiming to ensure the smooth digital management of the examination process. The council also reviewed the monthly student activities bulletin for May, which highlighted the various student events and achievements across the university.
   In the same context, University Vice President stressed the utmost importance of adhering to all regulations and decisions governing the grading process and examination control procedures with efficiency and transparency. He also instructed the faculties to finish grading, score recording, and the announcement of examination results as soon as possible, emphasizing that priority should be given to the results of final-year students to safeguard the future of male students and ensure they are able to meet military conscription application deadlines without delay.
