Under Patronage of the University President, Tanta University Celebrates the Conclusion of Student Activities at Faculty of Medicine and Honors Outstanding Students

   Under patronage of Prof. Mohamed Hussain, President of Tanta University, Faculty of Medicine held its annual ceremony marking the conclusion of student activities for the academic year 2025/2026. The celebration was attended by Prof. Al-Sayyed Al-Agouz, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; Prof. Mohammed Hantira, Dean of Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the University Hospitals Board; Dr. Mohammed Gaber, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; in addition to the faculty vice deans, academic program coordinators, student activities coordinators, and the Director General of Student Welfare Administration at Tanta University.
   In his address, Prof. Al-Sayyed Al-Agouz expressed his pride in the outstanding achievements and exemplary performance demonstrated by the faculty students. Conveying the greetings of Prof. Mohammed Hussain, President of Tanta University, he emphasized that the university is firmly committed to developing well-rounded graduates by complementing academic excellence with character building, talent development, and the promotion of teamwork and a strong sense of belonging. He noted that the high level of organization and innovation displayed throughout the event reflected the remarkable potential of the university students to lead and drive positive change. He also reaffirmed the continued support of the university administration for student activities as a cornerstone in preparing graduates capable of serving their communities and contributing to national development.
   For his part, Prof. Mohammed Hantira, Faculty Dean, highlighted the vital role of student activities in discovering talents and developing leadership qualities among students. He stressed the commitment of the faculty to providing a dynamic environment that nurtures creativity while enabling students to build leadership, teamwork, planning, and decision-making skills. He added that the diverse range of activities, including cultural, sports, artistic, and community service initiatives, offers students valuable opportunities to express their talents and achieve balanced personal and professional growth.
   The ceremony concluded with a recognition program honoring outstanding students in appreciation of their achievements. The event was organized by the Youth Welfare Department at the faculty, in collaboration with the Student Union and the “Students for Egypt” group, and celebrated students who earned top positions in various competitions. Honors were presented to the Ideal Male Student and Ideal Female Student, the Theater Team, the Student Union, committee leaders, the Scout Team, and the Football Team in recognition of their excellence and contributions throughout the academic year.
