Tanta University Board of Gifted and Talented Students Center Meets Under Chairmanship of Prof. Al-Sayyed Al-Agouz
Tanta University Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Al-Sayed Al-Agouz, chaired a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Center for Gifted and Talented Students, attended by Dr. Yasser Abdu, Executive Director of the Center, and members of the Board.
During the meeting, Prof. Al-Agouz reviewed the sector’s strategic vision for developing students’ skills and talents, emphasizing commitment of the university to providing all necessary facilities and comprehensive support to build promising student cadres capable of representing Tanta University and competing effectively at both the local and international levels.
University Vice President stressed that supporting gifted and talented students is not merely a student activity, but a genuine investment in the nation’s future. He affirmed that the university is implementing an integrated plan to overcome challenges and provide the highest levels of support to outstanding students, aiming to develop a generation of qualified cadres capable of representing the university and enhance its standing at local and international forums.
For his part, Dr. Yasser Abdu presented a comprehensive overview of modern mechanisms for identifying gifted and talented students during the upcoming period. He also outlined strategies for supporting newly enrolled university students, guiding their talents and providing them with comprehensive care.
Meanwhile, the directors of various units presented their detailed, time-bound plans for implementing the center’s key objectives, each according to their respective areas of specialization.
The meeting also addressed mechanisms for strengthening effective integration among the different units of the center and the university faculties, with the goal of achieving the strategic objectives in identifying gifted students, providing them with appropriate support, and developing their capabilities.
