Tanta University Vice President Chairs August 2026 Education and Student Affairs Council Meeting
Prof. Al-Sayyed Al-Agouz, Vice President of Tanta University for Education and Student Affairs, chaired the regular Education and Student Affairs Council meeting for August 2026. The meeting focused on monitoring the progress of the educational process and reviewing a number of academic issues across the university.
The meeting was attended by Prof. Mona Al-A’sar, Dean of Faculty of Pharmacy; Prof. Nancy Al-Hefnawy, Acting Dean of Faculty of Computer and Information; and Prof. Mohammed Ibrahim, Acting Dean of Faculty of Applied Arts, along with the university vice deans for education and student affairs; Prof. Ahmed Al-Seba’ey and Prof. Amal Kabbash, council members with relevant expertise; and Prof. Ghada Arafa, Director of the Registration and Examinations Department.
The council reviewed reports on electronic grading across the university faculties. Prof. Al-Agouz stressed the importance of adhering to all approved corrective procedures established by the Measurement and Evaluation Units, as well as complying with the prescribed proportions of essay and objective questions in examination papers in accordance with decisions issued by the Supreme Council of Universities.
Prof. Al-Agouz also directed officials to ensure close monitoring and strict implementation of the administrative and legal regulations, as well as Tanta University Council decisions governing the review and acceptance of medical excuses submitted by students. He emphasized that adherence to these rules is essential to ensuring fairness and maintaining discipline.
