Tanta University Vice President for Education and Student Affairs Holds an Expanded Meeting Ahead of the New Academic Year

   As part of the efforts exerted by Tanta University to enhance the efficiency of its administrative and academic operations and improve the quality of services provided to students, Prof. Al-Sayyed Al-Agouz, Vice President of Tanta University for Education and Student Affairs, held an expanded meeting with directors of Education and Student Affairs departments at the General Administration of Education and Student Affairs and various university faculties.
   The meeting focused on reviewing ongoing work and preparations for the start of the academic year, 2026/2027. It was attended by Dr. Osama Ghonaim, Vice Dean of Faculty of Computer and Information for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, and Dr. Haitham Al-Komy, General Manager of Education and Student Affairs Administration at Tanta University. University Vice President reviewed a number of issues and files related to Education and Student Affairs and discussed mechanisms to ensure the smooth operation of administrative work at the beginning of the academic year.

He also listened to proposals and observations aimed at improving performance and addressing potential challenges facing students and staff in the relevant departments.
   In addition, Prof. Al-Agouz reviewed the key policies, regulations, and rules governing the work of Education and Student Affairs Administration, emphasizing the importance of adhering to the regulations governing admissions, student placement, transfers, and the preparation of lists of newly admitted students nominated for the faculties for the academic year, 2026/2027.
   He stressed the need for coordination and integration between the General Administration of Education and Student Affairs and the corresponding departments at the faculties. He also underscored the importance of responding promptly to students’ inquiries and problems, while ensuring accuracy in data entry and verification to guarantee smooth operations and comprehensive data covering the various components of the educational process, including inputs and outputs.
   The meeting also included a technical presentation by Dr. Osama Ghonaim on the university electronic statistical program, which provides comprehensive data covering the various components of the educational process. The presentation explained how student affairs departments should enter faculty-related data and highlighted the latest updates to the system.
