Tanta University Concludes the 28th Summer Theater Festival, and Faculty of Engineering Ranks 1st


  Under patronage of Prof. Mohamed Hussain, President of Tanta University, and under the leadership of Prof. Al-Sayyed Al-Agouz, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, Tanta University held the closing ceremony of the 28th Summer Theater Festival.
   The festival was organized by the Artistic Activities Administration of the General Administration for Student Welfare. The closing ceremony was attended by Prof. Al-Sayyed Al-Agouz, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs; Prof. Ahmed Nasr, Dean of Faculty of Engineering; Prof. Afaf Basal, Dean of Faculty of Nursing; Prof. Ahmed Al-Araby, Dean of Faculty of Arts; Prof. Nancy Al-Hefnawy, Acting Dean of Faculty of Computer and Information; the Vice Deans of the university faculties for Education and Student Affairs; Prof. Magdy Wakwak, General Coordinator of Student Activities; and Dr. Mohamed El-Qassir, Director General of the General Administration for Student Welfare.
   In his speech, Prof. Al-Sayyed Al-Agouz expressed his pleasure at attending the closing ceremony of the 28th Summer Theater Festival, which featured outstanding student participation throughout its activities and showcased the diverse talents, abilities, and creativity of students.
   He praised the students for their distinguished theatrical and artistic performances and for demonstrating a strong spirit of competition and creativity. He emphasized that Tanta University is rich in talented youth who deserve continued support and encouragement, stressing that student activities are not merely supplementary events alongside the educational process, but an essential component of developing the personality of university students.
   He further emphasized that Tanta University places great importance on developing its student activities system as an integral part of the educational experience. The University remains committed to providing an appropriate environment for student activities, supporting talented students, expanding opportunities for participation in competitions and events both inside and outside the university, improving the content offered to students, and making use of technology and digital platforms to reach the widest possible audience.
   The closing ceremony celebrated the students’ artistic achievements and highlighted the continued support for student creativity, cultural activities, and the development of students’ talents alongside their academic education.
