Vice President of Tanta University Inspects University Hostels on First Days of Student Housing


   Prof. Al-Sayyed Al-Agouz, Vice President of Tanta University for Education and Student Affairs, conducted an inspection tour of Al-Matḥaf Boys’ University Hostel and Al-Hoda Girls’ University Hostel as students began moving into university hostels for the new academic year.
   The tour was attended by Prof. Ramadan Ma’en, General Supervisor of University Hostels, and Mr. Walid Mamdouh, Director General of University Hostels. The visit reflects the commitment of the University Administration to monitoring the quality of services provided to students and ensuring a safe and suitable residential environment that supports their well-being, stability, and academic achievement.
   Prof. Al-Agouz stated that the visit is organized in line with the directives of Prof. Mohammed Hussain, President of Tanta University, to maintain continuous oversight of university hostels and improve the services provided to students. He emphasized that university housing is a key component of the student welfare, stressing the importance of providing a safe and stable living environment and continuously improving service quality to help students settle in, attend their classes regularly, and achieve academic excellence.
   During the tour, Prof. Al-Agouz welcomed students and checked on the smooth implementation of the housing procedures. He also reviewed the level of services provided and inspected several facilities, as well as the preparations and equipment completed ahead of the students’ arrival.
   He stressed the need for continued field monitoring, attention to service quality, and the provision of all necessary means of comfort and care for university students throughout the academic year.
   For his part, Prof. Ramadan Ma’en confirmed that all necessary preparations had been completed to receive students at the beginning of the new academic year. He noted that the university hostels’ teams are fully prepared to provide students with comprehensive care and services, while conducting daily follow-ups on their needs and promptly addressing any concerns or requests to ensure a safe and suitable residential environment throughout their stay.
