For 3 Days and with Participation of 200 Students, Tanta University Organizes the Training Course, “Student Leaders’ Preparation of the Academic Year 2024/2025”

   Tanta University organized a training course under the title, “Student Leaders’ Preparation of the Academic Year 2024/2025” under patronage of Prof. Mohammed Hussein, Acting Tanta University President and Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; and Prof. Magdy Wakwak, Coordinator of Student Activities; under supervision of Mr. Mohammed Al-Qassir, General Manager of Youth Welfare Administration; and Mrs. Rasha Fawzy, Manager of Student Unions Department. It was attended by 200 of university students and lasted for three days.
   Events of the first day included a lecture about drugs and its negative impact on the individual and the activity onside the faculty. It was lectured by Dr. Amr Abdel Mun’em, Manager of the Medical Administration. The next lecture was on mental health and it was lectured by Dr. Heba Allakawy. Another lecture was given by Mr. Mohammed Al-Qassir, General Manager of Youth Welfare Administration, who tackled the positive impact of student activities on the behavior of the student at the university. In addition, Eng. Esraa Rushdy, Nutrition Specialist at University Hostels Administration and Undersecretary of Chairman of University Union in the academic year 2020/2021, managed an open dialogue on practicing activities during the academic years.
   The second day included a lecture given by Mr. Ahmed Al-Hawwary and Mrs. Azza Galal on Student Union regulations and bylaws, while Prof. Rania Al-Emam, Dean of Faculty of Specific Education, gave a lecture on the impact of student activities on acquiring self-confidence.
   The third day was a discussion saloon in attendance of Dr. Bassam Barouma, Coordinator of Student Activities at Faculty of Business; Dr. Ahmed Gabr, Coordinator of Student Activities at Faculty of Agriculture; Mr. Mohammed Al-Qassir, General Manager of Youth Welfare Administration; and Mr. Mohammed Adel, Former Deputy Chairman of Student Union.
