Under Patronage of University President and with the Participation of 6 Egyptian Universities, Tanta University Hosts the Annual University Hostels Forum

   The university hostels at Tanta University hosted yesterday the annual sports, cultural, and social forum for university hostels, with the participation of student delegations from six universities. The event was organized within the framework of supporting student activities and strengthening the spirit of cooperation and competition among students of Egyptian universities. It was held under patronage of Prof. Mohammed Hussain, President of Tanta University, in attendance of Prof. Al-Sayyed Al-Agouz, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and under supervision of Prof. Ramadan Ma’en, General Supervisor of the University Hostels, along with Mr. Walid Mamdouh, Director General of the University Hostels, the Youth Welfare Administration, and the Nutrition Department at the Hostels. The event took place in a distinguished atmosphere reflecting students’ sense of belonging and communication.
   For his part, Prof. Al-Sayyed Al-Agouz affirmed that the forum included a variety of sports, cultural, and social activities and competitions, with notable participation from Tanta, Mansoura, Menoufia, Capital, Sadat City, and Kafr El-Shaikh universities. He emphasized that the student is the pivot of the educational process, adding that the forum embodies the university strategy of building a well-rounded personality that combines academic excellence with skill distinction.

   Further, Prof. Ramadan Ma’en highlighted the commitment of hostels administration to mobilizing all logistical resources and ensuring comfort for participating delegations to present the forum in a dignified and civilized way. He noted that the hostels teamwork operated around the clock to organize evening activities and friendly gatherings, which contributed to strengthening human bonds among students.
   At the conclusion of the event, Prof. Al-Sayyed Al-Agouz honored the winning teams and students, amid widespread praise for the excellent organization and cooperation among the universities, reflecting the distinguished image of Tanta University hostels and their role in supporting student activities.
