In an Enthusiastic Atmosphere, Tanta University Launches the Events of the Futsal Tournament for International Students
The events of the futsal tournament were launched today dedicated to international students at Tanta University. The events are organized by the Main Center for International Relations and Expatriate Affairs in cooperation with the General Administration for Youth Welfare, under patronage of Prof. Mohammed Hussain, Tanta University President; and Prof. Al-Sayyed Al-Agouz, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs.
Prof. Al-Sayyed Al-Agouz affirmed that the tournament reflects the commitment of the university administration to supporting both the athletic and social aspects of international students’ lives, as well as providing a supportive environment that allows them to express their physical and creative energies. He added that the ultimate goal of this event is to promote the spirit of fair competition and teamwork, strengthen bonds of brotherhood and cultural exchange among students of different nationalities, and integrate international students into the university community through student activities.
Prof. Al-Agouz also noted that the first day of competitions witnessed great enthusiasm from participating teams representing various faculties of the university. Preliminary and semifinal matches were held amid strong student attendance and lively cheering, reflecting the high level of sportsmanship among participants from different faculties and nationalities. He added that the competitions will continue tomorrow, Sunday, February 15th, to conclude the current edition of the tournament.
