Launch of the “Raise Your Child Right” Symposium Series at Faculty of Science


   Faculty of Science at Tanta University has launched the first event in the “Raise Your Child Right” symposium series, as part of the strategy of the university to enhance students’ awareness and build their personalities in a comprehensive manner. The event was held under patronage of Prof. Mohammed Hussain, President of Tanta University, and Prof. Al-Sayyed Al-Agouz, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, with notable attendance from academic leaders and students.
   Prof. Al-Sayed Al-Agouz stated that Education and Student Affairs Sector places human development at the top of its priorities, emphasizing that such symposiums represent a key pivot in equipping students with essential life and educational skills for a better future. He added that the “Raise Your Child Right” series will include several upcoming sessions covering various aspects of proper upbringing and family interaction, as part of the university efforts to intensify cultural and educational activities alongside academic learning.
   For her part, Prof. Abeer Alam Addin, Dean of the Faculty of Science, affirmed that this series reflects the social and educational role of the faculty towards its students. She explained that building an individual goes beyond academic achievement and scientific excellence to include preparing a generation with sufficient awareness to form stable families that contribute to societal development. She stressed that the faculty is committed to providing awareness-driven content aligned with the aspirations and needs of youth.
   The symposium was delivered by Prof. Randa Al-Deeb, Professor of Child Education Foundations and founder of the “Raise Your Child Right” initiative. She discussed the importance of proper upbringing in preparing a generation of youth aware of positive parenting principles. She also focused on empowering families to discover their children’s talents and promote their psychological well-being. The session witnessed strong engagement from students, who called for turning these meetings into a sustainable, ongoing program to enhance community awareness and prepare young people for marriage.
