Tanta University Ranks First in the Egyptian Universities and Higher Institutes Bodybuilding Championship
Tanta University achieved a major sports accomplishment by winning first place in the overall ranking of the Egyptian Universities and Higher Institutes Bodybuilding Championship, which was hosted by the university as part of the 53rd Martyr Al-Rifa’i Tournament, in cooperation with the Egyptian Universities Sports Federation.
The activities were held under patronage of Prof. Abdul Aziz Qonsowa, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Prof. Mohammed Hussain, President of Tanta University, and under supervision of Prof. Al-Sayyed Al-Agouz, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs.
For his part, Prof. Mohammed Hussain expressed his pride in such achievement, stating that such achievement reflects the strategy of building a well-rounded student personality. He also expressed pride in hosting this major sporting event, affirming that the university will always remain a hub for talent and a center for student and sports activities nationwide, while extending congratulations to the winning students for adding this achievement to the university record.
Prof. Al-Sayyed Al-Agouz added that the goal from the beginning was not only to compete for the title, but also to present an organizational model worthy of the name of the university. He emphasized that he directed all obstacles to be removed and all university resources to be mobilized to ensure comfort for participating delegations. He also praised the high sportsmanship and distinguished technical level witnessed during the event, affirming that the university youth have the determination and will to excel in all fields.
The championship was organized at a high level of coordination by Prof. Magdy Wakwak, General Coordinator of Student Activities, Dr. Mohammed Al-Qassir, Director General of Student Welfare, and Mohammed Al-Sheikh, Director of Sports Activity Administration.
