Tanta University President Honors Scientific Research Pioneers at the University

Prof. Abdel Hakim Abdel Khalek Khalil, Tanta University President, honored teaching staff members who have the largest number of published scientific papers in specialized scientific periodicals. They are as follows in order: Prof. Abdel Nabi Al-Bayoumi Kabil, Professor at Faculty of Engineering; Dr. Mustafa Fahmi Abbas Hasanein, Assistant Professor at Faculty of Engineering; Prof. Ehab Abdel Fattah Al-Lobodi, Professor at Faculty of Engineering; Prof. Safaa Al-Din Hassan Ateya, Tenured Professor at Faculty of Science; Prof. Tarek Ali Ahmed, Professor at Faculty of Medicine; Dr. Amina Fawzi Kharrob, Assistant Professor at Faculty of Engineering; Dr. Al-Refaee Sobhi Qenawi, Professor at Faculty of Science; and Prof. Mohammed Khaled Awad, Professor at Faculty of Science. This occurred during the celebration held for honoring scientists who gained University scientific awards of encouragement, appreciation and scientific excellence.     

In addition, University President; Prof. Ibrahim Abdel Wahab Salem, University Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research; and Prof. Moddather Taha Abo Al-Kheir, University Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, honored members of the committee of scientific research plan preparation in appreciation for the wonderful effort they exerted all year. One of the main tasks of the committee was to communicate with faculties having different majors and prepare research plans for faculties of the University with their different departments in University Research Plan 2015-2020 to represent all faculties of the University.

The committee was formed based on a decree by Minister of Higher Education. It was under chairmanship of Prof. Ibrahim Salem and members were Prof. Youssef Al-Husseini Al-Emam, professor at Faculty of Education and former vice dean of the Faculty; Prof. Mohammed Labib Salem, Professor at Faculty of Science and Manager of Grants, Innovations and Technology Transfer Center (GITTC); Prof. Nageh Ahmed Al-Mahdi, Professor and Faculty of Pharmacy Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Olfat Mohammed Gaballah, Professor and Head of Oral Biology Department at Faculty of Dentistry; Abdel Nabi Al-Bayoumi Kabil, Professor and Head of Mechanical Power Engineering Department at Faculty of Engineering; Prof. Al-Refaee Sobhi Qenawi, Professor and Head of Chemistry Department at Faculty of Science; Prof. Ehab Mohammed Al-Bedawi, Professor at Faculty of Physical Education; Prof. Hassan Mohammed Al-Thahabi, Professor and Head of Agricultural Plant Department at Faculty of Agriculture; Prof. Mona Mabrouk Al-Gamal, Professor at Faculty of Science; Dr. Wesam Salah Ibrahim, Assistant Professor at Faculty of Medicine; Dr. Hani Mustafa Al-Shami, Assistant Professor at Faculty of Commerce, and Dr. Nehal Mohammed Al-Mashad, Lecturer at Faculty of Medicine.
