About the research projects


The idea of research projects has begun with funding 39 individual projects (the first plan -2010-2012), then the idea developed by funding 55 inter-projects between the departments of one faculty and the other faculties of the university (the second and third plans). The fourth plan by four research projects bringing the total number of funds funded in all plans to 98 research projects. The total funding for research projects amounted to 8.3 million pounds. More than 97 research papers were published in various periodicals, and other research projects is being published.
The Supreme Committee for Supervision and Follow-up forms a committee to examine the projects submitted in each plan and submit a comprehensive report on them, reviews the periodic reports of the projects, submits the arbitrators’ reports, and prepares recommendations to be presented to the Research Fund Council for discussion and approval.
The Research Fund Unit, represented by a small number of qualified employees, manages these projects, follows up on periodic reports and their initial evaluation, corresponds with external examiners, summarizes the examiners’ reports, presents these reports to the Supreme Committee for Supervision and Follow-up, prepares and participates in the Research Fund Council, which is held monthly, other related topics.
