Prof. Hatem Amin Chairs the Monthly Meeting of Tanta University’s Graduate Studies and Research Council

Prof. Hatem El-Sayed Amin, Vice President of Tanta University for Graduate Studies and Research, chaired today the regular meeting of the University’s Graduate Studies and Research Council. The meeting was attended by the vice deans of the University’s faculties for Graduate Studies and Research, as well as directors of the Graduate Studies and Cultural Relations departments.

During the meeting, the Council reviewed the items on the agenda and followed up on graduate student enrollment procedures and the memoranda submitted for the registration of master’s and doctoral theses. The Council also discussed proposed amendments to a number of theses at various University faculties, in addition to addressing matters related to Cultural Relations and the University Research Fund.

Professor Ali El-Sheikh, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry for Graduate Studies and Research, also delivered a detailed presentation on the Research Excellence Competition for graduate students, as part of the University’s efforts to support the quality of scientific research and encourage graduate students to pursue excellence and innovation in research.
