A Symposium at Tanta Faculty of Commerce on How to Choose a College and to Make a Career

Faculty of Commerce at Tanta University organized today an outreach symposium for students who gained the General Secondary Certificate under the title “How to Choose a College and to Make a Career” under patronage of Prof. Mahmoud Zaki, University President, in attendance of Prof. Kamal Okasha, University Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research; Prof. Hany Al-Shamy, Faculty Dean; Prof. Mohammed Al-Hadary, Executive Manager of the Main Center for Sustainable Development at Tanta University; Prof. Hamdy Shaaban, Dean of Faculty of Specific Education; Prof. Yasser Al-Garf, Faculty Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research; Prof. Ahmed Abo Mosa, Faculty Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; and Prof. Hesham Al-Ebiary, Faculty Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development.  

   Prof. Kamal Okasha affirmed that choosing the suitable college is a very critical and difficult step for General Secondary studentsthey have to select academic specialties that cope with their abilities and tendencies and that match the rapid development of labor market needs.  

    It is worth mentioning that activities of the symposium included informing students about the correct method for choosing the academic discipline that suits their abilities and interests, and how to plan for their academic life and career.
