Announcement of the Launch of the Fourth Edition of the King Salman Global Award for Disability Research 2026
The Post Graduate Studies and Research Sector at Tanta University announces the launch of the Fourth Edition of the King Salman Global Award for Disability Research, in accordance with the announcement issued by the General Secretariat of the Association of Arab Universities. The award is organized by the King Salman Center for Disability Research under the generous patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, may Allah protect him. The winners are scheduled to be announced in October 2026.
The award aims to honor institutions, scientific organizations, and researchers who have produced high-quality research with a tangible impact on advancing the fields of disability and improving the quality of life of persons with disabilities. It also seeks to support innovation and strengthen research collaboration at both the regional and international levels.
The award is valued at SAR 500,000 for each winner, in addition to a medal and a certificate of appreciation.
