107 Tanta University Scientists Participate from Abroad in an Online Meeting to Enhance Scientific Research
Tanta University organized an extensive meeting for researchers of the academic staff and assistant staff ̶ who are on scientific missions in some world states ̶ in implementation of the instructions given by Prof. Mahmoud Zaki, Tanta University President, as for contacting university scientists abroad to enhance scientific research and to establish scientific partnerships with prestigious universities.
The meeting was chaired by Prof. Kamal Okasha, Tanta University Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, with participation of 107 researchers and students from different world states such as USA, Canada, United Kingdom, Italy, Belgium, Germany, China, Russia, and France via video conference. In addition, it was attended by Prof. Mahmoud Shakal, Executive Manager of the Main Center for International Relations and International Students’ Affairs; Prof. Hagar Saad Al-Din, Manager of International Rankings Unit at the University; and Mr. Essam, Manager of Cultural Relations at the University.
Furthermore, Prof. Okasha asserted that the meeting aims to help the Sector of Postgraduate Studies communicate with university scientists abroad to consider new advancements, and to tackle prospective cooperation protocols and scientific partnerships with highly ranked universities; thus, the university’s ranking can be improved, and education and scientific research can be developed.
