During a Visit by a Delegation of Students and Graduates of Tanta University, Employment Contracts Are Signed and Training Opportunities Are Offered at Chem-Tech Company

Prof. Mahmoud Selim, Tanta University Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, visited the factory of Chem-Tech company for laboratory equipment and chemicals today in Baltim city under patronage of Prof. Mahmoud Zaki, Tanta University President. Prof. Selim was accompanied by a delegation of students and graduates. They were received by Engr. Ahmed Al-Sharkawy, Chairman of Chem-Tech’s Administrative Board. The visit was in the context of activating the memorandum of understanding signed by Tanta University’s Centers for Career Development (UCCD) and Chem-Tech company to offer many jobs and paid training opportunities.

    Prof. Mahmoud Selim declared that the visit supports the presidential initiative “Alliance and Development” and reflects the efforts exerted by Tanta University in creating effective partnerships with representatives of the industrial sector at the strategic and executive levels. Hence, the university is changing into a fourth-generation one connecting all its services to needs of both labor market and development partners. It is worth noting that during the visit 5 employment contracts were signed with university graduates and 25 paid training opportunities were provided.
