Through the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector and the University Centers for Career Development (UCCD), Tanta University organized a field visit to "Daltex Corporation for Agricultural Development. The visit was under patronage of Prof. Mohamed Hussein, Acting President of the University, and was attended by Prof. Mahmoud Selim, University Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Adel Helal, Vice Dean of Faculty of Agriculture for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Walaa Nour, Vice Dean of Faculty of Engineering for Community Service and Environmental Development; Dr. Rania Ahmed, Assistant Professor at Faculty of Agriculture; Engr. Walid Hassouna from Faculty of Engineering; Haitham Rashid, Business Relations Officer at Community Service and Environmental Development Sector; in addition to several company executives, and 15 students from faculties of Engineering and Agriculture.

   Prof. Mahmoud Selim expressed his gratitude to Daltex for hosting the university’s delegation today to achieve cooperation in the light of the national strategy for higher education and scientific research, launched by Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to change into fourth-generation universities in partnership with the industrial sector. He indicated that the university is seeking to increase of students’ and graduates’ capabilities to face the challenges and requirements of labor market. In addition, he commended the role of the University Centers for Career Development in sharpening the skills of university students and preparing them to meet the demands of the job market through providing them with specialized technical training, career guidance and planning, and creating relationships with employers.
