Faculty of Physical Education received today the children participating in "A Child’s University" as part of "Scientist Children for a Better Future" initiative. This event was held under patronage of Prof. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research; Prof. Jina Al Feqi, Acting President of the Academy of Scientific Research; Prof. Mohamed Hussein, Acting President of Tanta University and Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; Prof. Mahmoud Selim, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; in coordination of Prof. Hany Saeed Abdel Moneim, Dean of Faculty of Physical Education; Prof. Sherif Fathy Saleh, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Abdulllah Khedr, Head of Chemistry Department at Faculty of Science and General Coordinator of “A Child’s University” at Tanta University; and Prof. Ahmed El-Sayed Awad, Coordinator of “A Child’s University” at Faculty of Physical Education.

   During inspection of the initiative’s activities, Prof. Mahmoud Selim commended the organization and reception of the children participating in “A Child’s University” program at Faculty of Physical Education. He indicated that the program prepared by the faculty aims to develop the children's sports skills and abilities. He stated that sports activities were included in the initiative's program because 27 participating children excelled at swimming, karate, and gymnastics. The program aims to increase their scientific and practical knowledge in areas related to sports.
