Under Auspices of Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and in Attendance of his Assistant for Student Life and Sustainable Development and his Advisor for Student Activities; Impressive Artistic Performances at Tanta University's Celebration Marking the Closing of the Student Activities Season

    Tanta University organized a huge celebration to mark the closing festival of student activities and to honor talented and innovative individuals. The event was attended by Prof. Mohamed Hussein, Acting President of the University; Prof. Hatem Amin, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research; Prof. Mostafa Bayoumi, Assistant Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research for Student Life and Sustainable Development and Vice President of the Egyptian University Sports Federation; Prof. Karim Hamam, Advisor to Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research for Student Activities and Director of the Leadership Development Institute in Helwan; along with many deans, vice deans, Colonel Hazem Gamal Ismail, Manager of the Military Education Department at the university; Prof. Magdy Abu Freikha, President of the Egyptian Basketball Federation; media figure Prof. Ehab El Komy, member of the Egyptian Football Association board, as well as many journalists, media professionals, and coordinators of student activities, in addition to a large number of university champions in various competitions.

   In the beginning of his speech, Prof. Mohamed Hussein welcomed the guests to Tanta University, affirming that the university’s role goes beyond teaching basic sciences and encouraging study and scientific research. It extends to developing students' skills and cultural awareness to meet labor market demands. He indicated that student activities play a pivotal role in building a comprehensive student personality and achieving a balance between knowledge, skills, and values in the intellectual and cultural development of university students.

   Prof. Mohamed Hussein expressed his pleasure with the massive participation of university students and the significant achievements they made during the past year, reflecting the effective impact of student activities on their behavioral education and training, which surpasses the effect of classroom learning. He confirmed the crucial role of the Leadership Development Institute as a main partner in preparing Egyptian university students to take responsibility and creating a new generation of youth for the New Republic.

      Moreover, Acting University President also expressed his appreciation for the university’s students with disabilities who excelled in various student activities and for their families, recognizing the great role they play in empowering their sons and maximizing their abilities to achieve success and progress. He thanked Prof. Magdy Wakwak, General Coordinator of Student Activities; Mr. Mohamed Al-Qasr, Manager of Student Welfare, the managers of the various departments affiliated with the General Administration of Student Welfare, the Fine Arts Center, the Science Center, the Innovation Center, and the Center for Talent Discovery and Welfare, which was established according to the instructions given by Prof. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research. He also thanked the political leadership for its unprecedented efforts and support of student activities and innovative individuals.

    In addition, Prof. Magdy Wakwak thanked the Student Union and the "For Egypt" student group for their significant efforts in organizing and preparing the event.
